An update to the Appcues Builder Google Chrome Extension
Builder / Experiences
We have released a new version of the Appcues Builder Chrome Extension.
With this release is an exciting improvement that allows the Appcues Builder to launch automatically.
Previously, when navigating to the Builder from the Appcues Studio, you might see this message. Screenshot 2022-11-28 at 11
You’d then need to click the Appcues extension button every time. Screenshot 2022-11-28 at 11
No longer! Now, hit ‘Allow’ when prompted with this message to allow permission to open the Appcues Builder from here on out automatically. 🪄 Screen Shot 2022-12-01 at 14
Clicking 'Allow' gives Appcues permission to see the website page you are navigating from enabling the Builder to open automatically.
Not interested? No worries. If you click 'Deny' you will simply have to continue clicking on the extension every time you navigate to the Builder from Studio, but your experience will not be limited or affected in any other way.
If you haven't seen the Permissions message shown above, you can manually update your version of the Appcues Builder extension by following these instructions.
